We offer our courses in various formats so you can choose the best method for you. We offer courses virtually through online training, available in asynchronous (go-at-your-own-pace) or live (taught by an instructor) formats. When you take a live, online course you’ll be in a virtual classroom with your instructor and peers. We also offer live, in-person training events throughout the year.

You can book a team training session live or in-person, where our instructor will come to you. Additional Offerings

In 2019, The Data Incubator officially became a part of Pragmatic Institute. By 2024, all data training was offered under Pragmatic Data, which now provides a range of business, semi-technical, and technical data science and analytics courses. Led by President John Haushalter, the team comprises specialists with deep roots in product management, data science, design, and complementary disciplines. John Haushalter

President

John has spent more than two decades helping shape leading e-commerce, SaaS and education companies. He began his career in M&A at Solomon Partners, moved into equity research at Robert W. Baird, and later led finance at Shopbop.com (a subsidiary of amazon.com), Infosec Institute, and Cengage Work. John joined Pragmatic Institute as CFO/COO in 2023 and was named President in 2025. He holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and an undergradudate degree from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania.

Harish Krishnamurthy

President of Pragmatic Data

Harish Krishnamurthy is the president of Pragmatic Data and The Data Incubator (TDI). Previously, he was the president at Sciata, a company providing specialists and custom software and analytics to accelerate change within organizations. Harish has led $40 million businesses (Cloud division at Insight Enterprises and Spear Education business) and a $2 billion business (IBM Midmarket Business Unit)—driving double-digit growth while building a foundation for sustainable growth.

He brings a broad spectrum of expertise across operations and strategy, having held leadership roles across P&L, sales, marketing and strategy during his tenure at IBM, Insight Enterprises, Spear and Sciata.
